Apollos Praise Dry Riesling Finger Lakes 2023 New York State

It is every winemakers dream to own their own vineyard, and this became a reality when Kelby, previously from Red Newt, and his winemaker wife Julia got the chance to buy Lahomah Vineyard when it came up for sale. This is their dry riesling from the top plot within this vineyard. The wine shows a great complexity with notes of Guava (a little reminicent of new world Sauvingnon Blanc) along side Riesling's unmistakeable freshness with lime zest with savoury hints of perserved lemons and minerality on the finish.
