Villota are a small, low-intervention producer working with old vines in the cooler subregion of Rioja Alavesa. Matured in a combination of French oak and concrete, their 2021 Tinto has remarkable freshness and elegance, as well as ripe blackberry and cherry fruit and a touch of spice from the oak.
